FRENCH HORN SOLOS
The composition was inspired by Psalm 150:6 NLT - “Let everything that breathes sing praises to the LORD! Praise the LORD!”
"FRESH AIR" is dedicated to Clarence Day, my first French horn teacher. I am so very grateful to him for his encouragement and patience with me for over five years of instruction.
The word “homage” is defined as “dutiful respect; reverence; honor” that is shown or expressed publicly. "HOMAGE" was inspired by Matthew 19:19, and is dedicated to my mom and dad. They were both powerful influences in my life, and demonstrated throughout their lifetime to our family what it means to sacrifice for the ones that you love.
The composition "GREEN PASTURES," was written for French horn, and was inspired by Psalm 23:2 - “He makes me lie down in green pastures, He leads me beside quiet waters.”
"GREEN PASTURES" is dedicated to my sister Nancy Arias of Scottsdale, Arizona. I am truly thankful and abundantly blessed to have her as my sister.
